Qualifications

  • Student currently enrolled in an advanced degree (part of end of studies internship)

  • Very strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong IT skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is preferred

  • Professional attitude and service orientation

  • Superb team player; willingness to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment

  • Ability to take initiative; demonstrates ownership of work and career

  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter who enjoys the challenges and rewards of research work in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively

  • Fluency in English and French

What You'll Do


  • You will work with more experienced analysts in the team at first to learn how to do in depth research while still applying 80/20 principles and how to communicate findings relevant for clients.

  • In this role, you will deal with new intellectual challenges daily and develop your understanding of industries and functions on an ongoing basis.
  • You will provide insights into Africa as needed to support client service teams
  • . This involves conducting end-to-end research in response to specific questions raised by clients via client service teams; sourcing information from internal and secondary data sources, analyzing and synthesizing this information, and creating well-organized, concise end products to deliver implications and insights to consulting teams.

Who You'll Work With


  • You will join the Africa geographic research team based out of our Casablanca office. The team works alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge across the continent in all sectors and industries.

  • The Africa Geographic team is comprised of analysts situated in most of our offices around the continent who form a strong community and will support with coaching and mentorship. The geo team forms part of the larger Client Capabilities Network as well which is a global network and includes more than 4,500 research and knowledge professionals.
  • Colleagues in our global Client Capabilities Networkdeliver distinctive client impact through assets and expertise and are driven by a culture of innovation.

  • The Capabilities and Insights internship provides an avenue for high caliber individuals get a taste of the consulting world and develop their research skills across topics.
  • The duration of the internship should be between 3-4 months and exact dates are flexible to coincide with university schedules. Working hours are between 09 00 – 18 00 Monday - Friday.
