Poste :
Missions and responsibilities
1. Lead business development: you are responsible for everything related to UM6P entrepreneurship and venturing ecosystem promotion, in addition to business development and partnership opportunities capture.
2. Work under the supervision of the head of entrepreneurship and venturing, start gate, UM6P Ventures, Bidra Ventures, Entrepreneurship Academy, Ufounders program and other UM6P stakeholders to ensure the day-to-day coordination of the programs, events management, KPis consolidation, and reporting.
3. Work closely with the Entrepreneurship and Venturing director and other UM6P stakeholders to Support participation in national and international programs to create opportunities for the UM6P entrepreneurship community to gain insight into the industry's unmet needs and innovation challenges which can be incorporated into current and future initiatives. These programs could be technology-related, VC and Growth investment-related, or Startup ecosystem enabling initiatives
4. Grow our engagement with stakeholders: you will represent UM6P – Entrepreneurship & Venturing externally, raising awareness of our organization and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with key stakeholders such InnovX, UM6P Ventures, PCL, Entrepreneurship Academy, UFounders, OCP Group SBUs, Mascir… within the wider ecosystem - startups, journalists, investors, Government officials, etc.
5. Brand awareness and outreach: this will involve hosting relevant events with external audiences (talks, round tables, VIP tours), participating in conferences and speaking engagements, networking, and more.
6. Represent UM6P – Entrepreneurship & Venturing externally: raising awareness of our brand and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with key stakeholders within the broader ecosystem.
7. Analyze and communicate results to rapidly scale successful initiatives and learnings
Skills
- Creative,process-driven, and strategic mindset
- Super organized and a proactive problem solver ?Comfortable working autonomously and within a team
- Comfortable speaking the language of marketing/sales funnels
- Great public speaking skills
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology, business administration, finance or related field required. MBA or equivalent degree is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of management experience within a startup and/or an entrepreneurial incubator and/or Venture Capital Firms, including prior experience with technology related to investment or entrepreneurship
- Experienced in business development or on the BD side of sales or marketing.
- Understanding of Moroccan and African market / customers / categories mapping to identify opportunities.
- Experience with entrepreneurship ecosystems, business incubators, small business mentoring, accelerators, and commercialization programs
- Experience working with executive stakeholders and managing relationships across all levels of an organization
- Mastery proficiency in French, English, and Arabic
Profil recherché :
