We are looking for our client, the world’s leader in development, production and sales of technologies,for a Value Stream Leader (H/F) based in Casablanca.

• Responsible for the full value stream: leading and improving the manufacturing operations for all products through continuous improvement including cost reduction activities, increase in efficiency and PPH performance, and the day to day management of a multi-functional team.
• Full ownership of the VS performance including capacity and lead time reductions as well as quality, cost, safety and delivery, and employee engagement.
• Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and annual expectations.
• Focus on driving continuous improvement activities within the VS to achieve increased productivity, reduced lead time, excellent customer service, world class safety performance and maximum output and flexibility within the team.
• Direct and lead the premier customer service efforts necessary to meet Business Unit, Division and Group goals.
• Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and optimal processes are followed, needed adjustments are implemented and the respective VS area is compliant with safety and 5S requirements.
• Work with the Production Manager to develop the future state value stream map and manage the plans to achieve it.
• Responsible for POP implementation and long-term manufacturing strategies.
• Co-management of the Site Tracking Centre and Team Improvement Boards, leading to the creation of actions that improve performance, or correct deviations, and improve lead times.
• Achieve the required and sustainable LISC performance.
• Implement Lean tools and techniques to increase capacity, reduce cost and improve both safety standards and productivity levels, extend employee empowerment levels through the use of HPTs etc.,
• Responsible for the leadership, development and motivation of a direct and indirect multi-disciplinary team to achieve business KPIs.
• Manage interface with all support functions and departments to optimise VS performance.
• Management and development of value stream team members through PPPs, development plans and HPTs.
• Hold regular team meetings and assigns team members tasks and coordinates support services needed outside the team.
• Coach, council, and manage the performance of team leaders.

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering or manufacturing discipline.
• CIPS qualification or experience in good supply chain practices would be a distinct advantage.
• Health and safety qualification would be preferable.
• Proven experience in a similar manufacturing management role in a fast-paced environment leading a large multi-disciplined team. 
• Experience of working in the process filtration industry would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques to support the delivery of world class performance.
• Implementation of Lean tools and techniques including VSM, SMED, SPC, JIT, 5S, visual management, TPM etc.,
• PC literacy.
• Planning, project management and problem-solving skills i.e. A3s, PDCA etc.,
• Strong leadership skills to lead, develop, empower and motivate a large team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to include the ability to influence and persuade at all levels within the organisation; build trust and confidence; and establish credibility.
• Flexible, open management style with a positive, professional manner and attitude.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Able to proactively support and respond to the changing needs of the business.
• Strong numerate and analytical skills including previous experience of managing a budget; understanding of the importance of financial KPIs.
