  • Working on-site in Casablanca in partnership with a pharmaceutical client, the Social Media Manager lead the client’s social strategy and ensure content is driving their purpose and business goals for all brands.
  • We are looking for someone who lives and breathes content and has a finger on the pulse of the latest and emerging trends and which brands are leading the way in Morocco.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • The Social Media Manager will report into the Content Strategist Dubai and Account Director Europe Markets, and oversees all social channel activations, in partnership with the Account Manager/ Project Manager, Community Manager and Integrated Designers in-house.
  • This is a client facing role, working closely with the brand team, local marketing teams and the client’s agency partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Work in true collaboration with your clients and be responsible for Brand Guardianship as the Steward of their social/online personality across channels. 

  • Ownership of social media channels & responsibility for content delivery across multiple brands.

  • Proficient in social software – Sprinklr, Social Bakers, Content Management Systems and beyond.

  • Help drive best practice and innovate in social content.

  • Driving engagement with consumers.

  • Bringing a social perspective to the development of integrated campaigns, ensuring that global social content is aligned to local brand and business priorities, analysing the effectiveness of our social content, supporting local teams to ensure that their social activity aligns with best practice, providing inspiration on best-in-class social content and practice.

  • A hands-on role - Managing your own projects for BAU social communications, as well as Community Management responsibilities, supporting the Community Manager.

  • Partnering with the Account Manager/ Project Manager to identify workload priorities, as well as proactive opportunities for engagement and reactive content, ensuring workload is manageable and team is utilised fully.

  • Writing inventive, attention-capturing posts, aligned to approved standards (FAQs) for the markets Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia (Classic Arabic and French)

  • Develop FAQ question catalogue for consumers closely with clients to stay relevant.

  • Attending and posting from live events (when required/ possible).

  • Publishing content, with a strong brand ambassadorship.

  • Maintenance of influencer relationships and reposting.

  • Working closely with the team and network of community managers, copywriters and designers to create social assets. 

  • Working in a small team locally and with the wider support network in Dubai, South Africa and London.

  • Work across 3-5 brands in Maghreb Region present in several markets: Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. Lend support to other European market needs if required.

  • Experience with working with social media management tools such as Sprinklr/ Social Bakers etc.

  • In-depth understanding of paid media and the role of influencers.

  • Experienced in Community Management Services (Resources, Workflow and Tools).

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience working with large brands in social media owning 50% share of voice or more.

  • Experience working with multiple brands, especially healthcare and regulated markets.

  • Classic Arabic, French and English speaking.

4+ years of relevant experience in :
