You will be working as Senior Service Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Casablanca; Morocco. In this role you will be reporting to Division President Manager and will be responsible to executes technical support and solves problems in own expertise area, manage, coordinate and perform service projects & maintenance contract internally and externally, proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions. Regularly communicate both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure we understand customer needs and utilize business opportunities for service growth.

Your responsibilities

• Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents.
• Provide technical support and solve problems in own expertise area in any service task repair, extension, upgrades, migration, retrofits. Manage, coordinate and perform service projects internally and externally- create milestones, project plan, cost supervision, action steps, project reviews, project supervision, including all commercials.
• Secure delivery and execution according to customer order and expectation.
• Ensure a tidy and safe work environment. Troubleshoot equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Calculate and work out of tenders for customer solutions also for tailor-made solutions (if applicable after consultation with specialist department).
• Investigate customer needs by professional consulting, e.g. for complex requirements. Co-operate actively with other ABB units to achieve common targets.
• Proactively identify potential equipment failures and request proactive corrective actions. Participate in maintenance meetings, participate in improvement activities.

Your background

• Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Service industry.
• Must have knowledge of Service offering, ABB products/systems
• Experience in electrification industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ABB health and safety operating procedures
• Excellent communication in both English and French language is mandatory.
