Oracle CAGBU is responsible for the development, marketing, sales and consulting for Oracle Communications specific products, and leads Oracles strategy in the communications industry. We seek an individual to take ownership of the project management activities in CAGBU Consulting EMEA. Consultants within the Communications Consulting EMEA practice are highly skilled Project/Program Managers with a proven track record in delivering innovative cloud and on-premise solutions to enable full business benefits realization, for major accounts.

Responsibilities
- Lead full project delivery for large client initiatives.
- Primary interface with senior client stakeholders, frequently to the main programme or customer boards, regarding project status, budget, scope and issues.
- Working with the account teams to scope required effort and define appropriate timelines.
- Ensuring client satisfaction through the successful realisation of business benefits and address business drivers.
- Providing effective communication of project status, plans, issues, timelines, and budgets, at all levels internally and externally.
- Accountable for the projects financial performance.
- Exercise scope management/control respecting the client, team, and partners. Whilst developing appropriate risk and contingency plans.
- Ensure process compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
- Provide leadership to manage activities for cross functional teams and coordinate implementation plans with internal and external resources (local/offshore teams).

Expected qualification
- Strong telecom and IT background, in SI and/or Consulting environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills a must, whilst operating at senior levels internally and externally.
- Ability to work as part of a team, yet provide leadership in complex problems.
- Logical approach to problem solving and excellent eye for detail.
- Proven track record of meeting project timeliness/deliverables and attention to detail, process, deadlines and quality results.
- Proven track record of working with virtual teams of different cultures establishing distributed delivery.
- Demonstrated success with customers during the initial assessment, project planning and implementation.
Required education and experience
- 5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-5 years of project management experience in the delivery of international projects.
- Project Management Qualifications, e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, etc.
- Extensive experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a software professional services organization or consulting background.
- Exposure to international project delivery.
- Experience in managing large consulting or services engagements.
- Understanding of the cloud paradigm and cloud delivery.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with both internal and external factors.
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed - 50% of the time.
- Full professional fluency in both English and French.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracles solution meets the customers objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracles methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracles risk and exposure. As a project lead assists the project team with aspects of their roles. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of small projects and sub-projects.
