Job Description Summary

• As the Senior Project Manager, you will regularly be leading the execution of complex projects, or a number of less complex projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for projects execution in new markets, possibly with extended scope (EPC) and in collaboration with strategic customers.
• You will be mentoring your peer colleagues who have less professional maturity. In addition to your project related tasks, you will contribute to business initiatives and possibly step in for the Regional Projects Leader in his/her absence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant and successful execution of all project obligations

• Plan and prepare the execution of complex projects

• Manage strategic customer relationship to enable for continuous business

• Direct, coordinate and coach cross-functional teams and delegate responsibilities within a matrix organization

• Identify and manage project specific risks and opportunities

• Improve efficiency of project execution by optimizing schedule and resources for TC&I

• Maintain stable EAC throughout project execution

• Optimize resource utilization and retain contingencies

• Deliver on financial commitments for your projects (cash collection, revenue recognition)

• Expand as-sold margin and limit LD exposure towards customers

• Maintain project KPI dashboard and report to sr. business leadership

• Perform frequent lessons learned with peer PM’s and cross-functional project teams

• Pro-actively engage with regional ITO team early in the process prior to contract signature to ensure project executability

• Understand and advertise local/market compliance

• Protect GE’s position in customer negotiations

• Support and take the lead on business initiatives, pro-actively push for process-and quality improvements

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in the wind industry and / or project management

• Experience in planning and executing complex projects

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate price, terms and conditions

• Demonstrated ability to work within a complex stakeholder environment

• Business fluent in English and French with strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Strong business acumen and financial savvy

• Proven competency in working with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Smartsheet

• Willingness to travel up to 40%

Desired Characteristics

• Business fluent in Arabic

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification

• Experience in Project Development and Execution in North Afric.
