The Position

• The Senior Accountant role with Intrepid is a key finance role that will focus on supporting the North America DMC to ensure all accounting entries are accurate and reporting is provided on a timely basis.
• This role will work collaboratively on reporting and analysis of the DMC North America, as well as the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities of the DMC.
• This role requires an in-depth understanding of the underlying financial results and success in this role requires resourcefulness and a high level of initiative along with the ability to tackle problems in a methodical and logical manner.
• You will require the capability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate an ability to understand the DMC and accounting requirements and also to drive process improvement where required.
• Furthermore, this role needs to maintain an element of flexibility to provide financial analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders in a continually changing business environment.

Some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for are :

• Month End Accounting and Reporting including Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist with External Audit and Business Controls Reviews
• Trade Payable and trade receivable management
• Coordinate with FM EMEA & NA around DMC NA
• Managing queries from Colombo shared services relating to AP and AR transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting requirements
• Work with the Finance assistant to ensure leader accounts and other transactional activity is completed accurately
• This is a full-time position based in Marrakech; We believe vaccines play critical role in the safe return of travel.

Skills :

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• CPA/ CA or equivalent qualified
• 3+ years Finance experience
• Experience in managing broad Finance function
• Experience and knowledge of Accounting Packages
• Excellent excel skills
