Project implementation is a key value driver in APM Terminals. Our ability to build a terminal, establish an operational organisation and secure commercial business delivers real NPV to APMT. If we fail to deliver it hurts APMT long term and equally, if we are able to improve on the original plans for a project we can secure incremental value for APMT.
APMT are looking for an individual to lead the project controls discipline for the TM2-2 project. Key to success in this role is centred around transparently communicating the project’s status to the Project and broader business to support the successful delivery of project success criteria and delivery of project benefits back to the business.

• Liaise with the functional counterpart on project control system issues and improvements
Construction controls & governance
• Implement APMT project controls and project procedures to manage the construction and delivery of equipment and project IT in a forward-looking manner.
• Track project progress against the approved baselines and, where appropriate, ensure issues are pro-actively addressed, resolved and/or escalated and reported.
Communications
• Ensure clear and consistent reporting within and from the project team.
• Regularly meet with the construction, equipment and IT teams to maintain awareness of (potential) project control issues.
• Build working relations with counterparts at the head office, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
