Finance Business Partner - Professional Services

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance operation professional to become a business partner to the Delivery Manager of Deployment Services in a particular geographical region.

This is a hands-on role where you will provide business operational, financial direction & guidance to the team. You will help drive achievement of business objectives, and the operational and financial processes.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a self-motivated, resilient, results-driven mentality with high levels of energy, flexibility, and commitment to deliver both personal and business objectives. Strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Ability to analyze complex data to inform decision making. Proactive and a good eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the Forecast process for the regional P&L; provide management with a robust and transparent forecast and provides advice on risks and upsides.
• Keeps the business on track with the forecast and plan, flag where corrective action is needed and works with management to maximize the performance of the organization
• Responsible for ensuring that the forecasts and actuals are properly recorded and are in accordance with established guidelines.
• Analyzes variances in Revenue between the project accounting system and the forecast and works closely with the PDMs, PMs, GRA & Revenue Operations to ensure revenue is properly reflected in the accounting system.
• Responsible to ensure the system reflects the appropriate Booking, Revenue & Costs during the close process
• Responsible for monitoring Unbilled Revenue and AR; both Aged & Total, and work with the PM community to ensure invoices are being triggered in a timely manner
• Work with the Cost Analyst for monthly cost accruals and forecasting of all cost elements.
• Ensuring compliance with Corporate practice, Geographic policies and procedures as well as establishing necessary internal controls and procedures so as to protect the companys assets.
  

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Finance Analyst with 5+ years experience in Finance and / or Operations.
• Proven track record in business partnering from a Finance / Ops perspective, including Revenue Recognition Experience.
• Drive for execution and results, with ability to manage a team in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
  

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of a Services business; the Operational KPIs, the Project Lifecycle and Project P&L.
