Job Overview
TE Connectivitys Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.
What Your Background Should Look Like
5 to 10 years experience at least in a complex / matrix / multionational organization
Plant Management experience 5+ years is a must have with extensive ramp up/ramp down of lines or value streams in Morocco
Excellent Project Management Capabilities And Proven Experience
Proven accomplishments utilizing OpEx and Lean tools/methodologies (Six Sigma BB, Tool Champion, DOE, GR&R, FMEA, etc.) is an advantage
Main Responsibilities
Lead the Manufacturing Plant Start-up Project in Morocco
Ensure adequate operations budgets are established under close cooperation with management and make sure budgetary limitations are respected.
Create and implement facilities to meet business requirements
Manage all plant operations and ensures compliance with all relevant policies, including production, inspection, quality, storage, maintenance, environment, safety, resources, and security. Responsible for meeting production schedules, shipping schedules, maintaining quality, controlling manufacturing costs, implementing continuous improvement and promoting good employee and community relations.
Manage the team, (manage results oriented, based on strong KPIs follow up, drive team spirit, coordinate transversal activities, lead the organizational change, increase the skill level of work force, build a work force with flexible skills to meet changing product needs, focus on employee satisfaction).
Responsible for maintaining quality policies and for the plant quality performance to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of products and services.
Is responsible for the safety and security of all employees in the facility and ensures that plant safety rules are followed.
Lead Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) on local level.
Overall responsibility for the proper utilisation and maintenance of TE assets and property.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as all TE policies and procedures at the plant.
Actively contribute to develop local talents through training, coaching, and facilitation.
Ensure employees are skilled and trained according to latest standards.
Provide strong leadership to Department Managers in order to ensure proper performance of duties and achievement of assigned objectives.
Federate employees to feel part of one team and of TE Connectivity.
Energize employees and involve them to make TE a great place to work.
Ensure effective communication to keep all employees informed about KPIs status and targets.
Represent the plant interests locally to outside parties and in forums. , FMEA, etc.) is an advantage
