Poste proposé : Operations Specialist

The job entails close liason with Vendors, Sales and Customer Service Team to ensure efficient process, communcication and order load for your Vendors.

You will act as a subject matter expert for your Vendors and will be a key part in successfully closing out period ends for your Vendors and Arrow.

Duties will include but are not restricted to:

  • Take ownership of vendor order backlog from SQ to invoice
  • Understand vendor rejections and communicate these successfully for conclusion
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of the implications of errors and work to minimise these
  • Keep scheduled delivery dates above 95% accurate
  • Be point of escalation for complex order issues or invoice queries
  • Understand importance of sales forecast and revenue targets and be the point of escalation for the sales team; particularly contributing to getting key orders over the line
  • Partake in forecast calls and pre-order management with Sales & Product Management Teams to maximise order load
  • Assist team mates with raising purchase orders and or queries at busy periods or during team members holidays
  • Strive for continuous process improvement by analysing current processes and amending, altering or developing where needed
  • Assist Accounts payable, Billing and Sales Departments with problem Purchase Orders / Invoices until processed / complete
  • Work closely with Product Managers to be main point of contact for Vendor’s requirements
  • Take the lead with your key vendor(s) establishing and maintaining an excellent working relationship. Attend regular Vendor meetings, QBR’s to build the relationships and discuss any issues
  • Work with Vendors to ensure PO’s are shipped and invoiced within deadline for month-end reporting.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A strong candidate for this position possesses solid organizational, communication and interpersonal skills while being able to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. An aptitude for computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. Strong time management and data entry experience is required.
