NETIS Group is looking for Maintenance Directos to join many subsidiaries across Africa, with possibility of expatriation.

The role of the Maintenance Director is to plan and execute passive network operation and maintenance activities, in line with business requirements and procedures defined by NETIS Group Networks processes and procedures and ensure that network availability and performance targets is achieved for all our Clients and Network. The goal is to avoid any interruption or downtime by insuring effective preventive maintenance routines, implementing proactive measures, achieve the shortest reaction and remedy times possible, at the lowest possible cost.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly responsible for day-to-day operations of all accounts.
• Appoint and manage regions and account managers, as required, to secure customer contract fulfillment in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, trust and confidence is intrinsic throughout the key account operations organization, positively increasing the business opportunities within the account
• Ensure coherent Telecommunication site maintenance
• Ensure a high-quality Network experience for the end user (customer)
• Ensure planning, scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance for all site equipment.
• Maintain the value of the passive Network assets
• Provide 24-hour Operation and Maintenance of all passive Network functions
• Plan the overall resource requirement and budget for the organization to run the site O&M for various operators.
• Analyze various performance and maintenance reports to plan the corrective maintenance program.
• Plan refueling schedules and fuel requirements for optimum fuel utilization on sites.
• Manage all technical, power and other passive maintenance staff in the subsidiary.
• Identify new business opportunities with O&M
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and according to standards.
• Analyze and optimize power consumption on sites
• Ensure performance excellence
• R&D new systems, technologies & solutions

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Electronics science
• Able to operate in a multicultural and performance driven organization
• Very good levels of French and English
• A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in Telecommunication Infrastructural service industry
• Experience in communicating with different groups/teams
