Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Tasks And Responsibilities
- Place Purchase Orders and manage Scheduling Agreements with the TE production sites in Europe and ensure finished goods and sellable components are delivered on time to meet the customers request dates,
- Actively manage intercompany orders by pulling in and pushing out as necessary based on changing customer delivery expectations,
- Support Operations regarding the availability of materials,
- Arrange special shipments as necessary,
- Manage the execution of delivery notes,
- Reviews and optimizes master data and parameter settings along supply chain (SAP),
- Monitors SC KPIs against agreed target levels,
- Leading & maintaining SC Configuration (cross department activities, value stream analyses, master data clean up),
- Drive diverse projects to improve SC performance,
- Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment,
- Drive and support cross-department activities (ISC, Warehouse, transportation, ).
- Bachelor/masters degree in engineering or equivalent,
- Considerable experience in Production planning or Materials management in a plant/manufacturing environment,
- Working experience with supply chain planning systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP),
- Experience in the Automotive Sector within a global organization is an advantage
- Knowledge in supply chain/ master planning and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
- Strong communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
