Poste :
Your main responsibilities will be :
- Have a strong understanding of the entire food ingredient portfolio to be able to provide additional value to the customer i.e., total formulation solutions.
- To undertake application work across all food & beverage segments, helping into the introduction of existing and new ingredients.
- Work closely with Commercial team and technical team in concepts, prototypes and applications for Moroccan market and undertake visits to customers.
- Help formulate our food ingredient strategy.
- Consistently improve quality-based performance.
- Responsible for laboratory tasks and activities including calibration, sampling, etc.
- Demonstrate expertise through quality-based testing and data evaluation and accurate reporting.
- Test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance.
- Root cause analysis for out of specification raw materials and finished products.
- Preparation of supplier complaints and supporting documentation.
- Sampling of raw materials and finished products for initial testing, re-testing and specific contaminants testing.
- Swab testing and machinery inspections for hygiene sign off.
Profil recherché :
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience working within food technologist, food industry, product development or similar role.
- Have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar
- Previous background to include Dairy, Savoury (Sauces ), Bakery, Confectionary, Meats industry
- Be a dynamic self-starter, confident and with excellent communication & presentation skills
- Be conscientious and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritise accordingly
