Are you looking for an opportunity to manage the successful deployment of a full range of Facilities, Environment Health and Safety and Fleet services in North Africa Countries (Morocco, Tunisia & Algeria) site in a technically robust way? If so, this is the role for you.
Role :
- As a Cluster EHS & FM Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring Morocco, Tunisia & Algeria site is in compliance with the GSK World Real Estate & Facilities (WREF), Environment Health and Safety standards and local legislations.
- You will also manage the delivery of efficient and effective Facilities, Fleet and Environment Health and Safety management systems & services across the local operating company (LOC).
- The Cluster EHS & FM Coordinator North Africa is responsible for delivery of all EHS, Real Estate and Facilities management services at North Africa sites, ensuring cost, quality and compliance metrics are achieved by key contract partners.

Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
Facilitate commercial Environment Health and Safety risk assessment in commercial local operating company to identify risks in critical areas,
Provide expertise on risk mitigation development plan and monitoring progress,
Support the implementation of embed and grow of the commercial Environment Health and Safety management system to ensure compliance with local legislation and GSK standards,
Act as primary contact in LOC to build strong relationships with Senior Commercial leaders, Human Resources, Compliance and key internal stakeholders to ensure the internal control framework has been established to mitigate risks,
Master technical Facilities & EHS aspects to implement business projects at local level,
Work with other key Environment Health and Safety and Facilities professionals to deliver an efficient service to staff, and interface effectively with business partners, facilities, and project management staff,
Establish and develop key relationships internal and external to GSK Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria actively managing and optimizing EHS & Facilities, Fleet operations to best serve our employees and business in Morocco LOC,
Develop a professional relationship with key representatives of WREF 3rd party providers in North Africa ensuring the delivery of a world class end to end Real Estate and Facilities function,
Work closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, Finance, procurement, Tech etc.) to ensure EHS and Facilities services are integrated as a part of a joined up, cohesive approach to employee experience,
Assume full accountability for the control of OPEX and CAPEX expenditure, ensuring financial acumen across the organization and responsibility for effective budget management,
Responsible for local delivery of all EHS Facilities and Fleet services within North Africa Countries, ensuring cost, quality and compliance targets are achieved by key contract partners,
Develop and embed contract governance processes and structures to ensure value and performance in the Service provider contracts, and to ensure effective risk management controls are in place,
Accountable for the prioritization and delivery of Global programs and projects (including minor works, infrastructure, business driven and energy projects) within GSK working closely as necessary with Global teams and managing 3rd party project managers,
Understand business EHS, Facilities & Fleet and occupancy needs within North Africa Countries and in partnership with Global Team (EHSS, Corporate Security…) determine, transact and implement optimal solutions,
Validate performance reporting and ensure appropriate metrics are delivered by the service providers to the business,
Uphold and ensure compliance with internal GSK policies, standards, procedures, alerts, and relevant external regulations with respect to Quality, Engineering, Statutory and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements,
Manage and develop Facilities employees in North Africa team,
Admin support to LOC General Manager as an Executive Assistant (less than 10% of time).
Why you ?
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Scientific, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Facilities related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in an EHS, Facilities & Fleet role.
French, English & Arabic speaking (fluent) with a strong written, verbal communication skills and influencing abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry,
Broad working knowledge of EHS and FM with specialists (discipline) (e.g. Operations, Risk management, Safety, Fleet, Real Estate, Capital Projects),
Outstanding managerial skills and leadership abilities to motivate and influence senior stakeholders in a demanding and rapidly evolving environment with a strong customer focus,
Ability to demonstrate consulting skills,
Ability to think and act strategically and initiate and engage in long term planning,
Excellent interpersonal, presentational, and persuasive skills to successfully interact with senior stakeholders internal and external to GSK,
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment,
Strong ability to act as a motivator of change and influence without authority,
Acts as a role model for applying standards to ensure compliance,
Financially literate, manages OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
