What will you be doing ?

  • Define the commercial strategy in line with the targets for each country and consistent with the global objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing clients of the region;Deploy commercial roadmap in target countries, where Suez Consulting does not yet have contracts or a permanent presence.
  • Partner with the country managers and other sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for opportunities and reach commercial targets.
  • Establish privileged contacts with local consultancies, potential representatives, as well as with the Public Authorities concerned by the activities of Suez Consulting; you’ll be is also in charge of developing relationships with local representatives of bilateral and multilateral donors.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • This position requires frequent business trips to the target countries in Africa.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development of transport, infrastructure or environment activities in Africa;
  • An experience in consulting & engineering would be a plus.
  • Ability to establish contacts at all levels ;
  • Very good interpersonal skills ;
  • Organized and precise ;
  • Good understanding of the specificities of each country ;
  • Good understanding of the issues for Consulting activities
  • Fluent in French and English and excellent both written & oral communication.
  • Impeccable ethics standards.
