What will you be doing ?
- Define the commercial strategy in line with the targets for each country and consistent with the global objectives
- Identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing clients of the region;Deploy commercial roadmap in target countries, where Suez Consulting does not yet have contracts or a permanent presence.
- Partner with the country managers and other sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for opportunities and reach commercial targets.
- Establish privileged contacts with local consultancies, potential representatives, as well as with the Public Authorities concerned by the activities of Suez Consulting; you’ll be is also in charge of developing relationships with local representatives of bilateral and multilateral donors.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- This position requires frequent business trips to the target countries in Africa.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 10 years of experience in business development of transport, infrastructure or environment activities in Africa;
- An experience in consulting & engineering would be a plus.
- Ability to establish contacts at all levels ;
- Very good interpersonal skills ;
- Organized and precise ;
- Good understanding of the specificities of each country ;
- Good understanding of the issues for Consulting activities
- Fluent in French and English and excellent both written & oral communication.
