The Position

• As an Accountant for Intrepid you’ll be a member of the Group Finance team and will be responsible for assisting with the accounting functions of the EMEA and NA sales entities including payroll, transactional support, month end.  The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and Group Finance team in supporting them with daily tasks and in many different aspects of Finance and accounting.
• The ideal candidate will be a junior accountant looking to learn and develop in the role.

Some of the tasks you’ll take support are :

•  Business Performance Reporting
• Management reporting systems and tools
• Work closely with our Finance teams to facilitate the financial processes
• Assisting with Payroll and VAT and HST sales tax data and preparation for submissions.
• Processing business transactions including IC recharges, AP coding and other.
• Support with Payment Process to ensure suppliers are being paid in a timely manner.
• This is a full-time position based in Marrakech; We believe vaccines play critical role in the safe return of travel. To ensure our workplaces are safe, we require proof of Covid-19 vaccination when you work from an Intrepid office, attend company events or travel on trips.
• For those who can’t provide proof of vaccination or a medical exemption, we may offer the option for remote work.

 Essential skills 

•  Finance/Accounting bachelor’s degree
• Commencing CA/CPA (or equivalent) study
• Strong analytical skills
• English language (both written and verbal)
• Strong excel skills and systems savvy
• You’ll have strong attention to detail with an incredibly positive attitude and the ability to maintain focus whilst completing detailed processes all whilst sharing Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.
