ABOUT THE TALENT READINESS TEAM
Our team builds holistic learning programs aimed at lightweight skills development focused on labour market needs, behaviours, and mindsets that accelerate work placement. We scaffold these programs with unique experiences and support systems to help guide our participants throughout their learning journey. We develop talent in various verticals, such as Software Engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, executive assistants and financial analysts.

ABOUT AFRICA CAREER CATALYST BOOTCAMP (ACC)
The ACC bootcamp aims to equip young talent to the working environment and prepare them for unlocking job opportunities. This is a 5 week program delivered fully digitally and that we are targeting to offer to 5000 francophone young African 18-30 years old in 2022.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Learning Programs Product Manager for the ACC program, you will be accountable for the fully lifecycle of the learner’s experience; defining member needs, determining the solutions to be delivered and building the systems for delivery of the community experience.
More specifically the role will include:
- Working relentlessly with business units to nail down perfect product market fit for the learning programs.
- Setting and evaluating metrics to determine successes/failures and strengths/weaknesses of the learning programs, monitoring and evaluating them in order to deliver better subsequent product versions.
- Developing, managing, and grooming product roadmaps to align internal stakeholder expectations and timelines, using product data and emerging customer insights to strategize about current and future product development.
- Working cross-functionally across the organization to build coalitions and gain traction.
- Collaborating with business owners and frontline operators to understand their needs, pressures, and financial targets, ultimately creating products that delight them as well.
- On a project-by-project basis, as needed, managing UX/UI, experience designers, and graphic designers.
- Bringing the learning programs to market by interacting with customers/users and intimately understanding their needs, wants and desires.
- Analyzing marketplace and competitors for opportunities to seize, lessons to learn, pricing to beat, and insights to gain-all in order to delight our future users.
- Providing leadership during the product development process, making sure the customer's voice is consistently present, and keeping all stakeholders aligned on the path to the 'Promised Land’.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 4 years of work experience in learning product management
- Experience with UX and or learning experience design
- Previous experience in testing and experimentation
- Experience in customer relationship management
- You can effectively communicate in English and French
- You have a high level of accuracy and a strong attention to detail you pay close attention to all of the small particulars when working on a task or project
- Strong collaborative capabilities : you are an epic team player
- Humility and openness to feedback: you proactively seek feedback for improvement and have an insatiable curiosity and hunger to grow
- You have ar mindset and are comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Fast paced working delivery with tight precision
- Experience in software engineering & cloud computing a plus
